Our Strategic Goals
It’s no secret that engineers, coders, and technologists are now playing an increasingly larger and more important role in our shared society. TechyRoo empowers more children to aspire to these positions by imparting foundational computer literacy knowledge and skills between the ages of 7 and 14.
Technology is a critical aspect of 21st-century education, but tech resources are not distributed equally among schools. We created an accessible, multi-tiered digital platform to bridge the gap by providing foundational computer literacy skills and encouraging more kids to pursue careers in STEM.
Through early computer literacy, TechyRoo opens the door to a multitude of future educational and employment opportunities for students.
Curriculum
The TechyRoo computer literacy curriculum was developed with input from teachers, ed-tech specialists, subject matter experts, and countless hours of in-depth research. Key topics covered include:
